As we evaluate each of 5 the areas in Washington that you could buy a home in, we will share with you key demographics like school ratings, crime data, average income and of course average house payment.
The 5 areas we chose are all over the state, here they are:

Seattle - the biggest city in Washington State, and a massive economic hub with employers like Amazon, Zillow, Microsoft and many more. Seattle has a solid average income but the home prices are going to cost you.
Everett - located about 35 minutes North of Seattle, Everett is in our local market, is a major city and has a nice mix of average income, decent schools and reasonable home prices.
Tacoma - located about 50 minutes South of Seattle, Tacoma is a major City as well and offers decent affordability when it comes to housing. The crime rate is higher here and some of the schools are hit or miss.
Kennewick - located in the Tri-Cities area of Washington State, over the mountains and on the East side, Kennewick is in massive growth mode right now. Your money will go far here when it comes to buying a home as well and you can still find value.
