But before you call the movers, let’s go through each of these areas, the school sizes & benefits of living in those districts.

#1 - Northshore School District: Bothell - By far one of the most coveted school districts in the Suburbs of Seattle, and for good reason. Bothell occupies space in both Snohomish and King County, so you can decide which county you’d like to live in while enjoying the benefit of the schools! Also enjoy Blyth Park, downtown Bothell and McMenamins among other great go-to places in Bothell.

#2 - Snohomish School District - Definitely the most “quaint” district on the list, Snohomish is one of the best Seattle Suburbs School Districts because of its vast array of real estate opportunities and a more “small town” or “country” lifestyle. Kids in this school district typically know each other and build friendship throughout their school careers! Also highlighted is Historic Downtown Snohomish, Bickford Station and the portfolio of real estate available!

#3 - Everett School District - now this one has become an incredibly popular area in the last 5-10 years, and incorporates Silver Firs as well as Mill Creek - a great student to educator ratio, as well as an array of opportunities for different geographical areas in Everett. I discuss Legion Park - overlooking Port Gardner Bay - the career opportunities at Providence Hospital and the Women’s Midwifery Pavilion, as well as the classic north Everett neighborhoods overlooking the bay.

#4 - Mukilteo School District - by far the most diverse populations and real estate opportunity markets in the PNW - over 25% of students in the Mukilteo district are English Learners, so a LOT of families from all over the world are seeing the benefit of this district and are enjoying the lifestyle living in Mukilteo provides. The Mukilteo / Clinton ferry, waterfront area, and Boeing as an employer and featured tour destination are huge draws to the Mukilteo area and makes it one of the best Seattle suburbs school districts!

#5 - Lake Stevens School District - By far, our favorite, shines as an ultimate destination for families and students alike. They have done a fantastic job of reinvesting funds and utilizing bonds voted in by the residents to improve and expand the schools, build new elementary schools to handle the capacity of young kids in the area, and have improved safety and security measures throughout. The family-friendly neighborhoods, the lake and lifestyle, as well as the array of available homes to put down your roots make Lake Stevens one of THE Best Seattle Suburbs School Districts in the PNW!
