3 Reasons to Sell NOW

Home prices in Snohomish county are up 36% in the last two years. If you have had any thoughts on selling, now is the time!

Reason #1

Interest rates are going to go up in 2022. This is pretty much a done deal at this point, the Federal Reserve has indicated it multiple times. As the interest rates go up, the buyer's purchasing power goes down, ultimately resulting in more inventory coming on the market. 


Reason #2

More inventory is coming. Reason #1 and #2 go hand in hand. As mentioned above, raising interest rates means raising inventory levels as less buyers will be able to purchase a home. With those rates going up, many buyers will be forced to drop out of the market or won’t be able to afford as much of a home. We are already starting to see more houses come on to the market in mid-January now that we are past the holidays and major winter hump. We expect this to only increase as we move into Spring. 

Reason #3

You likely have significant equity in your home. If you purchased your home anytime in the last two - ten years, you are likely sitting on a tremendous amount of equity in your home regardless of renovations. With so much appreciation made, you can pull that equity out and put a sizable down payment on your next house.
